Dr. John R. McDonald graduated from Hononegah High School in 1979, 12th in his class of 220. He received his Associates in Science at Rock Valley College.

He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in December 1985, completing 12 quarters and graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Dr. McDonald has taken and passed the Board of Examiners Exam for Illinois and Arizona and is Licensed in both states.

He served a 1-year apprenticeship under Dr. Dwight Gunderson in Rockton Illinois before opening McDonald Chiropractic Clinic in Loves Park Illinois.

He has been in practice since 1985. Dr. McDonald currently resides in Roscoe Illinois.
